EMMIR is a unique study programme focusing on migration through an intercultural approach. It provides profound theoretical skills in migration studies combined with field work in Europe and Africa. It is designed as a multidisciplinary programme that addresses important contemporary issues in an emerging field of study.
EMMIR offers a number of scholarships for students; students from Western Balkans and Turkey, Tunesia and Egypt; and from the 'Eastern Neighbourhood Countries' of the EU are especially encourage to apply.

EMMIR admitts the second cohort in September 2012 - applications from around the world to be submitted until 31 December 2011.

The application process is two sided: you will have to submitt your documents online AND in paper by ordinary mail. On our website you will find all requirements and information on the procedures for your application.
