On the 21st of December All-Russian action of motorist against increase of gasoline price, rise in housing and communal services tariffs', as well as customs duty, took place. In a number of cities, for example, Vladivostok, actions were cruelly pressed by police and special police squad. In other cities, for example, Belgorod, protesting people were beforehand intimidated to prevent their participation in actions.

Actions took place in the cities of Vladivostok, Astrakhan, Moscow, Novosibirsk, Omsk, Krasnoyarsk, Saint-Petersburg, Kaliningrad, Khabarovsk, Voronezh, Irkutsk, Tyumen, Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk, Belgorod, Barnaul, Blagoveshchensk.

Alexey Kozlov ("GROZA" Movement) comments: "Motorists' actions confirmed the opinion that the freedom of assembly is the last political right enjoyed by Russian citizens. And this right is quite effective even in such "democratic" conditions. We can characterize the reaction of authorities in two words: feebleness and ungiftedness. Several years of the so-called "stability" absolutely depraved Russian authorities that can't even imagine that they can carry on negotiations with protesting people. They have the only recipe – special police squad. If the Vladivostok special police squad is unreliable (this is symptomatic at the beginning of crisis actions), then the authorities send the Moscow region special police squad.
