On December 2, 2009 appr. at 4 pm Nigina Bakhrieva, a famous human rights expert of Tajikistan, arrived to Manas International Airport in Bishkek from Dushanbe, Tajikistan. She was invited by the Golos Svobody Foundation to conduct a training program for the Kyrgyz Ombudman Insitution staff members as well as the personnel of Jogorku Kenesh, the Kyrgyz Parliament. While passing the border control Mrs. Bakhrieva was informed that she is not allowed to enter and there is a restriction until 2019.

Upon her request to inform the grounds for the restriction they told that "... In September 2009 (during the last Nigina Bakhrieva's visit to Kyrgyzstan) she had some problems with the Kyrgyz (law enforcement) "bodies". They didn't explained what the problems are.

For information: In September 2009 Nigina Bakhrieva in fact been to Kyrgyzstan at the training on international human rights protection mechanisms.
